About the Author: Zealous Disposition

Many people who have met me don’t know that I stutter.  I’m slow to speak and give thought to what I say to ensure it has meaning.  Too many people today talk and talk and talk but don’t say anything worthwhile.  I also have a reserve demeanor that has been mistaken for weakness.  However, my demeanor coupled with my stuttering has given me the gift of observation.  I discovered that if you sit back and observe things, you will learn more than you realize.  People will tell you exactly who they are without saying a word and life will softly speak to you.  

I’m a son, a brother, a friend, a husband, and a father.  I enjoy being there for my family and helping with life issues.  I’ve learned and experienced many things and I would like to continue to learn and experience more.  Learning is a lifelong process and I believe we should learn from our own experiences as well as the experience of others.  Life has a way of bring us down from day-to-day.  One day we’re happy and the next day we’re sad.  Some of us have the wherewithal to mold more happy days than sad.  I’m grateful to have had the privilege of meeting some of these happy people…they helped open my eyes.

My children have become older and more aware of the world around them.  As a father, I need to provide them with a roadmap to life.  I invite you along as I document my experiences as well as the experiences of others in a positive and motivational manner.    My goal is to provide thought-provoking articles so that my children, our future, and all who read this blog will have the ability to display a ZEALOUS DISPOSITION towards living life with passion.
